Hello and welcome to my page! The purpose of this e-Portfolio is to showcase the projects that I have developed within my Designing Integrated Media Environments class I am currently taking at the University of Florida.


My name is Monica Johnson and I currently am in my second semester of the Instructional Design Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Florida. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2026 and plan to pursue my Ed.D in Educational Technology in the Fall of 2026. I have a Master's Degree in Exceptional Education and a Master's Degree in Nursing Education.

Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Psychology. For the last several years I have been working in Healthcare IT focusing on curriculum and development and training of Electronic Health Record Systems. I have a true passion for Instructional Design and look forward to continue down this career path.

I created a book cover featuring a sunset reflecting over the ocean with a Pelican at the shoreline, featuring bitmap imagery edited in GIMP.

I designed a personalized logo displaying a sun setting over the ocean using vector graphics in Adobe illustrator.

Web Design

I utilized html code and javascript to design a Multiple Choice Quiz online using a drop down menu. My quiz is on Running. I also created a drag and drop quiz utilizing html code and CSS code. This quiz requires matching Taylor Swift songs to their respectable albums.

Video Production

I created a short educational video on Pelicans using CapCut while incorporating transitions, effects, captions, background music, and narrative audio of myself speaking to each photo.

I created a Digital Animation Video using Adobe Animate. I obtained vector images from Adobe Stock,created a motion path, and incorporated transition effects to create a short educational video on Rockets.

Screencasting

I created a Screencast for the cloud-based animated video creation platform, Vyond detailing step by step instructions on how to use this platform. I also created a Screencast of an AI Guide Overview for Vyond Go, an AI powered video creation tool within the Vyond platform highlighting its impeccable features.

E-Portfolio

This ePortfolio showcases my current web design skills and documents my progress throughout this course. While my expertise in web design and content development is evolving, the projects featured here reflect meaningful growth and learning. Each project integrates both professional and personal interests providing me the ability to highlight my unique perspective and creativity. I intend to use this ePortfolio as a tool for ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
